With more than 28 years experience, you can rest assured that pride and professionalism are paramount in providing each client the best in DJ services. I do more than just “play the music” at your function, and have a genuine desire to make sure everyone enjoys themselves. Appropriate attire, an upbeat attitude, and knowledge of music will add to the success of your event.

You will enjoy the new music of today and the classics of yesterday. With an extensive array of music…r&b, dance/house, oldies, reggae, jazz, top-40’s, stepping, blues, rock, and hip hop (clean versions)…a good time will be had by all.

Meeting with each client well in advance to discuss all specifics and logistics, eliminates surprises and creates a piece of mind. If timing or distance is an issue, email is a very successful alternative. While a basic choice of music is decided during your planning, requests are always welcome.

Located just outside of Washington, DC, serving the metropolitan DC, Maryland and Virginia areas, though not limited, having traveled to New Jersey, Delaware West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I only use professional equipment by Numark, Electro-Voice, Mackie, Pioneer, AKG, and QSC. A wireless microphone makes announcements trouble-free. By pre-visiting your location, the day of set up is seamless, plus my arrival is one hour prior to your function.

Planning a wedding is probably the most difficult event to put together. The stress is outrageous and it is hard keeping the ceremony and reception events timed just right. DJ Delray helped keep us on track and made the outcome memorable and successful. The music was great! His mannerism and professionalism is off the hook. Delray was the DJ for both of my daughter’s weddings and a cousin’s 50^th birthday party. Each time we thoroughly enjoyed his personalized services. We have nothing but good things to say about DJ Delray Gooch! As soon as we met Delray, my then fiance and I felt immediately he understood we wanted our wedding reception to be a party, and he had the experience and attitude to make that happen. Prior to the wedding, he had requested and we provided him with a list of songs for the reception, and he had them all. On the day of the event, Delray arrived with plenty of time to set up. He also doubled as our MC and introduced the wedding party in a great “announcer voice”.

Throughout the evening my now husband and I, as well as both our families, got lots of compliments on the DJ. He kept everyone out on the dance floor where everyone had a blast! As one guest remarked, many DJs seem to have a formula, rotating between fast and slow songs. Delray saw the crowd was having fun dancing, so he kept the good music going all night long. We would recommend DJ Delray to anyone who asked, and would hire him again if we ever needed another DJ in the future.
