my guests loved him. He also did a great job incorporating
both English and Spanish music into our reception, as we

The dance floor really got
going, everyone had an amazing time, and Phil was great. We
definitely made the right choice. Steve Flenner and MJ

Dave, Everything was great,
Thank You for all of your help planning and working with us in
such short notice since we had to move it up and also helping
us to make our wedding day so memorable! The last wedding I
was at the DJ was horrible and I know the Bride was very upset
and won't have a good memory of her reception b/c of it.
Steve Smelser did a fantastic
job being the DJ for our wedding. My family (the groom) is
from New Orleans so we included a Mardi Gras song to introduce
the bridal party. Observing the festive nature that the Mardi
Gras song brought out, Steve (our DJ) incorporated several
other New Orleans songs into the playlist totally impromptu.
Those songs made the evening that much more special and
certainly assisting in keeping new Orleanians in the crowd
entertained. Thanks for a great time!
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and MJ for
providing us with EXCELLENT service on our wedding day
(10-13-07). Everything was PERFECT and Philip, myself and
all of our guests had a ball!!
I liked that Steve and MJ had experience with multicultural
weddings, which is exactly what I needed for my
Scottish-Arabic wedding! Both he and his wife MJ worked hard
with us in planning the event, making sure that all the names
were pronounced correctly, which was no easy feat, and to
include Scottish and Arabic music as well as contemporary
music into our reception. MJ did a wonderful job of MCing the
event and Steve made sure that all the different music and
dancing kept the party going. This made the whole event a lot
of fun and it made sure that there was something for everyone
to dance to. You know things are going well when everyone
including Steve and MJ were having a great time! They even
managed to make the ending of the reception fun, by making
sure that everyone was on the dance floor, getting into the
"Last Dance". This ended the reception in a memorable way!
Randy was very easy to work
with, very friendly, very accommodating and very
professional. We enjoyed having him as our DJ at our
wedding. Everyone has commented to me how enjoyable our
wedding was and I would like to thank Randy for assuring that
our guests had a great time. If anyone is looking for an
outgoing DJ, we would definitely recommend Randy to others and
will keep his information for future events that we may need
DJ entertainment. Thank you Randy!
Our event was a great success and everyone had
a lot of fun! Thank you so much for getting everyone up and dancing. There
were some people dancing that I never thought would get up and dance. The
conga line with the Mexican hats and tambourines was tons of fun and
everyone greatly enjoyed it. Thank you for your work on our event and for

suggested that I hire him for mine. She was right. You're the

Phil really did an excellent job
with everything. He paid very close attention to what my
husband and I wanted and played a great assortment of music.
He played all the songs the guests requested, and he really
made for an awesome day! He did really good with the names
during introductions too, and we had some hard ones! We will
definitely recommend him to all of our friends.
Phil was great! I got SO MANY
compliments on the music and how it was one good song after
another. The only complaint I got was no one wanted to get off
the dance floor and rest so they were really tired by the end
of the wedding. The price was right and Phil was fabulous! I
would recommend DZ Entertainment and Phil to anyone. My
mother-in-law already booked another DJ (Phil was booked) for
an upcoming work event.

Randy did an awesome job DJ-ing
my wedding reception. He really got the crowd going and every

Phil was wonderful and very
accommodating. Our guests loved the mix of jazz, rock, and
Greek music. We also loved that he made CD's of our music

I have been meaning to write you and
John since Monica's and Carlos's wedding. My husband and I and our
guests enjoyed John's performance as DJ very, very much. John could
probably tell by watching all the happy people on the dance floor!
It was a great mix of Latin music, classic rock, and some
traditional ethnic songs like Hava Negilah and La Bamba. The music
really pulled the families and guests together. Also, we liked
John's style in announcing the bridal party and the special dances.
He was warm yet discrete and never pushed his own personality over
those of the bride, groom, and families.
Thanks, also, John, for being prompt
and setting up with ease. And thanks to both of you for your
professionalism and attention all through the process of signing the

The added hats and cha-chas for
the conga line were fabulous! Everyone had a blast!
Steve and MJ were GREAT!!! I was a barrel of nerves hoping
that everything that evening would go off without a hitch.
Steve and MJ made sure that I did not have to worry about a
thing as they coordinated with the venue on the timing of the
evening's events. Also, Steve selected the perfect songs from

the highlights were definitely created by Dave. Our groomsmen did the
YMCA--an unforgettable memory! Then we did a conga line and almost
the entire room was on their feet dancing. Dave & his assistant gave
out sombreros, maracas & tambourines which really livened the party up
even more! Everyone had so much fun--we didn't want it to end! Dave
also acted as our MC, and he was very professional and really knew how
to "work" the crowd. I would highly recommend Dave Holmes as a DJ for

I would like to take a few minutes to give some special recognition
to DJ Steve Flenner, and his lovely wife Mary Jane.
Steve was the entertainment at my daughter's wedding last week at
Celebrations at the Bay, and he, as well as Mary Jane, did an
exemplary job. We were fortunate to have a crowd of over 200 who
ranged from the young to an 89 year old Great Grandmother. It was a
diverse a group as you could imagine, and there was not a soul who
did not have a great time. The music was such that everyone was
pleased.
One of the requests that our daughter gave us was that it was
important to her and her new husband that everyone have a "party". I
can assure you that they all did, and that it was one that they will
not soon forget!! We heard nothing but compliments all night.
As wonderful as the performance was, it was complimented by the help
we had in planning the event. Steve and Mary Jane were able to
fulfill all of our expectations, and were very helpful in offering
suggestions when we were stumped. Thank you Steve and Mary Jane for
a professional, friendly, and accommodating event. You helped the
new Mr. and Mrs. William Sherrill, as well as all of our guests,

Johnny did a wonderful job at
our wedding. When he learned that the bride's family is
from Spain, he took it upon himself to mix in some salsa
music for them to dance to. When the bride and groom were
going from table to table greeting the guests, one of the
elderly guests actually commented on how good a job Johnny
was doing. She said the volume was perfect because she
could carry on conversations at the tables with no problem,
but the dance floor was never empty. Thanks again, Johnny!
And thanks to Dave for all of the reminders and for putting
us in touch with Johnny.
Just a quick note to thank you
for the fabulous job you did at our September 16th wedding
at Camp Letts. Our day was perfect..........blue skies ,
delicious food and terrific music that kept the dance floor
packed with so many of our family and friends! You did an
outstanding job introducing our complicated wedding party

professionalism and your personal touch. My whole experience

Where I gave "good" rather than
excellent, was not through the fault of Randy. The venue
set him up in a terrible spot so he wasn't able to be
interactive. We were completely satisfied with his
performance.

I couldn't possibly ask for
better service than John Torres. He is Superb!!!! Also Mr.
Dave Holmes has always responded back to me immediately for
all of my questions.
My wedding was a little
different...I had a mixed traditional wedding, American and
Hindu. DJ Johnny did really well with the music selection
for the two ceremonies and did a great job of mixing the
Indian and the American music. He kept the guests dancing
all night.....I got compliments on him from the guests on
the day of and after. So, thank you very much...you made it
a great success and very enjoyable wedding for the guests.
After the
Bride submitted her play list for her wedding to Phil, she
completely changed her mind at the wedding and was unhappy
about the music she selected. Upon informing Phil that she
wanted a totally different selection of music played, Phil
wasted no time in getting the exact type of music the Bride
wanted for her reception. The Bride and the whole wedding
party danced the night away forgetting that they were
unhappy with they're original music selections. |
